In partnership with Intrust Super, Women in Gaming & Hospitality Australasia recognises the skills and contribution that women bring to the gaming, hospitality and gaming related industries with the Intrust Super Executive Development Program Scholarship.

As an organisation dedicated to promoting positive outcomes for women and achieving gender equity and an inclusive industry, we are thrilled to offer this prestigious scholarship to support our mission of fostering continual professional development and advancing women into senior leadership and C-Suite roles in our industries.

The recipient receives a scholarship to attend the highly respected program offered by University of Nevada and University of Reno.

About the Program: 

The Executive Development Program is designed to help you lead organisational change. It increases your capacity to lead and manage in a changing environment and prepares you to think strategically and reshape your organisation. It provides the information and insights to create organisational growth opportunities through strategic alliances. 

The Executive Development Program covers:

  • Attractions 
  • Casino environment 
  • Employee development 
  • Community relations 
  • Partnerships and; 
  • Exceptional customer service.  

The nine-day intensive program consists of daily seminars taught by some of the business world’s most influential innovators and executives, as well as case study analysis with team members from the program. 

The EDP creates lifelong connections and enables participants to gain valuable insights into an ever-changing industry. Up to 65 attendees from across the world participate in this gaming leadership program each year.

Who should apply:

The EDP is specially designed for: 

  1. Executives and senior managers in positions of substantial responsibility who help shape the futures of their organisations.  
  1. Owners, board members and other leaders active in strategic planning for gaming organisations.  
  1. Government regulators who require a comprehensive understanding of casino operations  
  1. Rising stars within a gaming organisation. 

Female members of Women in Gaming & Hospitality Australasia who are dedicated to advancing their career and are committed to developing their strategic leadership skills and knowledge are encouraged to apply. 

Inclusions & Obligations: 

The scholarship includes course fees, return economy class flights from a major city in Australia or New Zealand, accommodation, course materials, daily lunch and a graduation dinner.  

Applicants must commit to attending the course on the dates specified. The successful applicant must provide a report about their scholarship experience and will be required to speak at future Women in Gaming & Hospitality events. 

All other expenses and incidentals, including insurance, are to be covered by the recipient of the scholarship.

To apply for the scholarship, you will be required to submit the following: 

  1. Application Form (Online within application process) 
  2. An application letter outlining your reasons for applying and what you hope to achieve from the scholarship 
  3. An up to date copy of your CV 
  4. Managerial letter of support from your immediate manager supporting your application and commenting on your leadership. 

Applications are now open and close on Friday 30th April.

Announcement of Recipient: 

The scholarship recipient will be announced on Wednesday 12 August at the Women in Gaming & Hospitality Leaders Lunch at the Australasian Gaming Expo in Sydney.
